Most amazing protest yet! Truly a sight to see, and energy to feel. Here is my amazing poster partner helping me show off on of my banners I proudly made :). Thabk you jess and everyone else from sketch who came, it was a day to remember and wouldnt be the same without you lovely folks 🖤
It was so uplifting to know a lot of other people are starting to wake up and give a damn. I feel a million times less lonely which gave me hope for humanity.
It got me excited and curious about how we as local communities can come together to create a sustainable way of living where we take care of each other and support our neighboring communities in order to clean up this mess we have made on our Mother Earth.
We need to focus on not consuming, but creating. Creating a life full of purpose. Become more self sufficient, feed ourselves, thrift as much as possible or make our own cloths. Start dismantling the current systems in place which are all focused on greed, easy money fast, exploitation, racism, sexism, etc. I could go on all day because literally everything we do, how we think, what we prioritize, and how we live our lives needs NEEDS TO CHANGE. Which seems overwhelming-because it is-but start somewhere. Connect to other people and build the futhre you'd like to see.
