Hi! I’ve had this account for a little while now and I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted it to be, so now that I have a plan it’s time for a revamp. •
I had a general idea that I wanted to be a more vocal and engaged part of the Instagram body positive and mental health communities, instead of just the lurker I’ve always been on my personal account. I also want to have a place to hold myself accountable for a) getting dressed every day in an outfit I feel comfortable showing to the internet (working from home probs...) and b) leaving my house and doing fun things. I’ve wanted to start vlogging for a while now, just for me because I love making and editing videos and also I want to document this very weird and transition filled time in my life, so I have something to look back on for perspective. I think I’ll start here on stories. So on stories you can look for daily outfit pics, me singing in my car, documenting my mental health and BoPo journey, and just daily life for now until I save up for a vlog camera! On the grid you can find photos like this. Pics of me living my life and documenting how I style my midsize body (with a twist - as I get more comfortable using photoshop and procreate, etc). Captions will be long form paragraphs about mental health and body positivity, one random emoji, or anything in between. I don’t fancy myself a writer or any sort of motivational influence. This is mostly a project for me, to be engaged in something fun and creative that is helpful for my mental health, if you want to follow along I’m glad to have you!
