Alright, so originally this post was going to be about finally reaching Shadowbringers and how amazingly eerie it is. But the other night, I got robbed.
I heard some noises in the house (stuff dropping, cabinets opening, etc.) I suspected it could’ve been like a rat or something. I went out my bedroom and noticed the light in the hallway was on, and the barred window was open. I thought it was weird but I figured maybe I had done it and forgotten about it. But I kept hearing more shuffling. I closed my door and started asking via cell phone for my bf, relatives and neighbors to take a look. No one was answering my calls and texts except my bf who rushed to me. Someone started trying to open my door which is held shut by a sliding latch. To reinforce it, I held it shut and slid my bed partly in front of it. They didn’t try to force it open luckily, seemed like they were checking if it was locked. My bf arrived and noticed people inside the house in the windows when he got to the front gate. He started honking and the pressure from the door lifted and they fled. He went inside not knowing if they were armed, and tried to trap them in. All my neighbors rushed over and helped me too. And we waited for the police. It was a really rough night, but luckily they didn’t really take anything of value and I am okay. I’m really really grateful that he went to help me, no matter the circumstances.
On a happier note, I really love every aspect of Shadowbringers and I’m excited to play more of it. Stormblood was good, but I can’t say it was close to Heavensward for me in terms of story. But still beautiful in its own way. I didn’t have any trouble with Shinryu or The Burn but the final dungeon really rekt me for some reason LOL. 😂 I embarrassed myself so many times in that dungeon. The tank was so patient and friendly. That’s why Im relieved for the Trust system in ShB! It’s quite a nice tool for learning mechanics. I hope they’ll do this again in the future. I’m currently helping faeries so they can show me the way to Urianger. Really excited to see where the story goes.
Anyway, thank you all who asked me if I was okay and everything. I really appreciate it!
