2 words are going to be “My words” this year. They are FAIL and REFOCUS which go hand in hand. I’m sure most of us are familiar with the word Fail. Or failure and failing. This can be a scary word, it has been for years for me. We all hate failing. No one wakes up and says, “I’m going to work on a goal and I am going to make sure I fail.” No!! We all want to succeed and we all want things to go our way. But they don’t. When we fail, we are given another opportunity. To try one more time. We have been given another chance to look at it different, to work harder or smarter. This is where my second word comes in, REFOCUS. When I mess up, I get hard on myself. I’m so frustrated and it’s all my fault. This time, instead of taking blame. I let it go. I take a step back and take a breath. Then I refocus. What is my goal? What have I done already? Why are my options? How can I change it. When I was practicing this one handed hand stand. Let’s just say I could barely walk up the wall to start. So every other month I would work on strengthening my arms and core and then I’d try again. And I would fail. My wrists where really weak so even gaining muscle on my body, I still had to strengthen my wrists and that was difficult actually 🤣 it took me 8 months to do this. It’s a lot harder then it looks 🤷🏼‍♀️ but each time I failed, I stopped and refocused. Before when I finally moved my arm up I was swinging it down just as fast. Now, I can hold it much longer. Don’t be afraid to fail, you can refocus and start again. That refocus could be a minute or days, but feels so good when you finally make it and didn’t give up. Remember everything is -figure-out-able. 올해두번째#눈바디 토요일 오전에 적어도 2주에 한 번은 오전 운동 가서 눈바디 하는 것이 새해 계획✨ 이라고 했는데 두번째✔️ 까지 성공👻 지난 번에도 올렸던 내용인데 다시 올려보면 토요일 오전에 운동 가면 하는 것들은 1. 좋아하는 스트레칭 영상으로 몸 풀기 2. 복근 운동 영상 1-2개 따라하기 3. 하체 운동 영상 혹은 다리 찢기 챌린지 영상 4. 골반 교정 영상 스트레칭 5. 가끔 폼롤러 스트레칭 보통은 이렇게 스트레칭위주로 몸을 풀고 가요 공복유산소 해야지 해야지 하는데 체중감량이 목표도 아니고 토요일 오후에 또 바로 외출해야하고 오전 그리고 주말이니까 몸을 풀어주고 하루를 시작하는 에너지를 얻는 걸 목표로 해요🧘🏻‍♀️ 그리고 우리 센터 사진 맛집😜 여기서만 복근이가 보여서 여기서 찍는게 좋아여🤪 2주-3주가 지난 지금 다시 돌이켜보는 새해 목표✨ ✔️감량은 목표에서 제외하고 유지가 제일 큰 목표! 그리고 근육량 늘리기/체지방률 낮추기 👉🏻체중은 유지중이고 인바디는 2개월 뒤에 확인 ✔좀 더 구체적으로는 상체 운동 비율 늘려보기 복근 데피니션 최소한 유지하며 선명하게 만들기 👉🏻복근 운동은 이제 버릇이 생기려고 하는데 여전히 상체 운동은 안하는게 문제 ✔️필라테스는 우선 상반기에는 주2-3회 필라테스 간 날은 유산소 최소 20분 👉🏻현재까지 필라테스 주3회 갔으나 유산소는 안하고 온날도 있던 거 같아요😢 반성해야지 ✔️날이 좋아지는 봄이 오면 4-5월에는 한달에 한 번 등산가기🧗🏻‍♀️ ✔️10월(혹은 가을 아무튼 하반기)에는 10K 마라톤 앞으로 제가 얼마나 지키고 있는지 틈틈이 공유해볼게요 오늘 운동복은 자켓 @runblack_official 런블랙 상의 @xexymix 젝시믹스 하의 @mulawear_kr 뮬라웨어 컨셉따윈없는 짬뽕룩..🤪

CARDIO TIME 💦💦 - I originally did this vid for my gym’s social media showing members the new machine we got, but I thought it would be cool to show y’all this machine too!! 😊 - Its the Woodway Curve Treadmill! This was my first time ever using one. It’s a pretty cool machine actually! It’s completely self-powered and requires no electricity, so your body is literally the motor of the treadmill. It makes for a full-body cardio challenge and actually burns up to 30% more calories than your typical treadmill, so that’s pretty awesome. It was definitely interesting when I first stepped on because it just starts going with a tiny bit of movement, but once I got comfortable on it, this treadmill was really cool!! Love trying something new at the gym! 💪

Issssa LEG DAY!! 💕 I was suuuuper excited to try out my new @suzie_kb glute band and ankle straps that I got for Christmas!! These are realllly gonna step up my game for the leggggies. 😛 - Make sure to give a like 💗 and save for later!! Here’s the deets for this workout ☺️ - 1️⃣ Cable hip abduction: [3 x 15] each leg. Make sure to keep the weight light on these!! 2️⃣ Walking lunges: [3 x 12] each way. I held a dumbbell overhead to put more focus on my legs working and core engagement! 3️⃣ Bulgarian split squats [4 x 15-20] each leg. Again with these, no heavy weight is truly needed, I did a set or two handed and a couple sets with weights. 4️⃣ Banded RDLs [4 x 12-15] The band is definitely a great addition to this exercise!! Didn’t go as heavy this time since I was using my band & stuck more to the 15 rep range, ending with 12 at my highest weight. Also you may notice I roll my shoulders back before starting the exercise. This helps to keep my form correct and focus on pushing the hips back instead of weight forward.

Over 5 miles down on this beautiful Christmas Day! ❤️💚 Earlier, I was feeling so tired and just really lacking energy because, personally, I’m not a huge fan of sitting around on the holidays and I really like to keep up with my daily routine. So, I chose to stop forcing myself to sit around just because it’s Christmas and let myself get out and enjoy this day! 🌞 Went for a 4 mile run and then took Lily for a walk! The difference between how I feel now and how I felt before is like two different people. Enjoy the holidays, and yes, it’s totally okay to eat crappy and take the day off working out, no doubt... but if you’re more like myself and maybe that doesn’t make you feel so good, I suggest taking that 15-30 minutes at least for yourself! I wish I could share how great this “therapy” is with everyone! 💗

Time to hit that BACK! 💪 I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend getting ready for the holidays!! 🎄 I’ve been so busy between work and Christmas shopping that I’ve been slacking on my posts, so I apologize for that! ~ Here’s a couple highlights from last night’s workout! ✨ ~ ▪️Straight arm pulldown [4 x 12-15] ▪️ As you can see with this one, I did a drop set for my last set of these. To start this set, I shoot for a weight that I could get about 8 reps, then move down 5 lbs to hit about 10 reps, and then down another 5lbs to hit as many reps as possible to finish up, usually about 10-15 at the lightest weight until failure. I didn’t show the entire progression down in the video because I felt like y’all may get bored watching after awhile 😂 I love finishing up an exercise with a drop set because it allows you to hit such a wider rep range and really work until failure! 🙌 - ▪️Single arm DB row [4 x 20-15-12-drop set] ▪️ Since I can hit a wider range of weight with these compared to an exercise like the first one shown, I used a wider rep scheme here. I went from 20 to 15 to 12 reps increasing weight, then for my last set I did a drop set until failure. Keep in mind, when doing these drop sets at the end, make sure to not take breaks. A good idea is to get a dumbbell out for each weight you want to include in your drop set and have them ready to go right beside you. Keep that heart rate up and push yourself! You really can usually do much more than you think you can! 💪 - I hope y’all enjoy these back day ideas! Thanks for watching!! 💕💕
