Finally. I am "home". That's how I felt the moment our Reiki Master placed his hands on my shoulders. In my mind's eye I saw "my team" patting me on my back, smiling.
Yesterday, I finished Reiki 1.
Anthony knew how much I wanted this -- to do healing. I did know a little about Reiki yet it had never ever occurred to me that I can study it. The idea felt so far-fetched.
Last May (few months back) I had an email exchange with the famous Samantha Fey -- Reiki Master, writer, intuitive empath, medium, wonderful human being. (It was just an ooh-i-have-to-email-Samantha impulse. Pretty aware that she gets, most probably, hundreds of emails a day) She jumpstarted EVERYTHING for me and I am very thankful (I had to write her again and add to the hundreds of emails 😅).
Fast forward to today and here I am holding my Reiki Level 1 certificate ✨
Thank you so much, @markymendoza! You have such a beautiful, magnetic vibe. Warm, generous and joyful, you are so easy to talk to. Your passion, enthusiasm for Reiki is so palpable, so striking, I can almost touch it (empath 🙋). It is all over you. (Now I have a name for it, the auric field 😊 ) You are born to teach. I could listen to you everyday! (Your crystal collection though 😅 more grounding prior for me, I guess, or I just have to get used to them in great numbers). I can't thank you enough, Marky ❤️ You are a blessing! (Thank you to your other half, too, for being such a good hostess)
Aaand today is day 1. My day one. My first patient is no other than one of my recent rescues, Marga, who is always sick. I can never get her to stay still so I was prepared to do a cartoonish-speed Reiki on her. She surprised me. IN AN INSTANT, Marga accepted Reiki quietly, serenely, with eyes closed. Pretty amazing. ✨
