🇨🇳 "Michail, what's the point in learning Chinese? It's too hard either way." 🇮🇳 "Hindi!? You are crazy. For what do you need that? Not even the majority of India speaks it." 📖 People are often surprised that I enjoy learning languages so much and that I then went ahead and started learning languages that most people would never consider learning. Why? 🗣️ Because languages are the basis of human communication. If you want to understand others, you need to converse with them somehow. I cannot expect everybody to speak English, which only around 20% of people globally speak, according to Babbel @babbel . Even then it doesn't tell you how advanced their English knowledge is. 🕯️ Therefore, the only way to communicate with more strangers is to learn their language. 🤔 It might result in funny translations as seen in the picture. I was with other exchange students from the Shanghai University of Science and Technology 上海理工大学 in Wuzhen in 2015 and with our broken Chinese, we were happy with this hilarious but also understandable translation. ❓ How many languages do you speak and which do you plan or already are learning?
