Finally leaning out. My carbs haven't gone over 130 in almost 2 weeks other then one dinner this week. I am staying at roughly 230 grams of protein per day and switching my training to alot more negative focused reps and slower paced and it's really starting to pay off. No tucking your tail bone or letting your belly drop. Pt.2 leg out for a deeper opening 2️⃣90/90- start with feet about shoulder distance and windshield side to side. Let your legs fall to one side. Get up on your sits bones and reach that body up and over the front leg 😍 3️⃣ i don’t know what this is called- feet wide with knees and feet in line with each other. Brace your core and pull your knees to the floor. Lean back if your back hurts. 4️⃣ kick backs - 10 per side. Don’t let that belly move 5️⃣glute bridges x 15

Coming off the heels of 2019, I was battling seasonal depression and living 90% of my day in headphones to avoid human interaction. I was unmotivated and had a terrible lack of focus. As much as I scoff at New Years resolutions, I sat down and really thought about what kind of goals I wanted for myself this year. Obviously, my health is always going to be a priority on that list, so I reworked my workout and meal plan. The beginning of January I started intermittent fasting (16/8 method) and I'm down 4.5 lbs as of Wednesday. I'm sleeping better and I feel more focused. Fasting has been a challenge as I've had to re-work my workout schedule for days that I lift, but it's been a welcome change. I had almost forgotten that a good workout doesn't only help me physically but it's also a mental recharge. This is the first time not being in a challenge group to stay motivated, but I truly feel like this round is me against me. That we can achieve our personal goals through the craziness of having little ones and not feel guilty about, but empowered 👊🏻. . One of the many reasons I love streaming my workouts from the convenience of my home - either early mornings before the kids up, at nap times, or in the evening when I get a minute to myself. . . I don’t have to find childcare or take it too seriously. I can just do me. Today we got a couples workout in ☺️. I love living my life and feeling empowered and confident when I workout.
