📣 Talk 9: Stephanie Dolliver. Cancer research advocate, and survivor. . “We all have a relationship with cancer. It’s sad it, it really is. That everyone around you has a story. They know someone. They lost someone. They were that ‘someone’. I share my story because I am that ‘someone’. I hope it inspires each of you reading this to do something, anything, to give back. I use the term ‘give back’ loosely because it can mean a wide variety of things. It inspired me to go on this career path of cancer philanthropy. I know this path isn’t for everyone, and that it can be hard. Maybe it is hard but what’s important is asking people to share their stories, asking people to care, asking people to give back. Money is the tangible thing that can progress the eradication of cancer, but it’s the intangible that will get us there. The fight that so many have won, the fight that too many will still lose." - Stephanie Marie .
