(LONG POST AHEAD! 😊 but since it's a weekend, I'm sure you can spare some time to read heehee😉)
It's a brand new year of 2020 and I have been waiting to officially say this! I'm truly really grateful and humbled by this whole career path of mine, from leaping into an unknown wagon, to where I am today:) Sometimes it seems impossible to put yourself out there in the wild, but as long as you set your mind to it and you know you are ready for whatever comes forward, you are good to go! The more you wait and procrastinate, trust me, you won't even budge! 😂
For those of you who don’t know yet, I have officially started at a fully licensed Financial Advisory (FA) firm (YAY! 🎉) where I am able to now provide access to the full spectrum of financial solutions from higher networth investment products to much much lower cost and better features risk management solutions for my clients.
However, I must quote my respected mentor and friend @dexterkoh who will always remind us that “products are merely a means to an end and as a professional adviser, we must continue to coach clients to align their financial milestones to the right amount of risk taking and matching it to the right time horizons”. We exist because of clients and we will continue to place clients’ interests first as we walk down their financial journey with them.
I'm grateful for many things in this journey:
1. My immediate family❤️- parents, sisters, hubby. Never ending support from them as my pillars of strength and definitely the reason behind this journey too!
2. My clients😘- also very dear friends of mine, for entrusting me to handle their Total Portfolio from choosing the right kind of mortgage loans to figuring out how to finance multiple milestones that are back to back. I would also like to thank everyone of you for being so patient with me for waiting so long for me to get my new set of licenses.
3. My team 💪🏻 I am where I am today also because of the collective wisdom and guidance that everyone of you have shown me. I am extremely blessed to be in this team that I know I can always tap on as I deal with more complex portfolios.
