This year my faith has been tested, strengthened and renewed. I have a lot to share about the matter and I figured I’d start here.
With the year coming to an end, it’s easy to feel that if you didn’t reach the goal, accomplish the dream or aren’t in the place you thought you’d be in by now, that maybe it just wasn’t part of God’s plan or even worse - that He’s incapable of answering your prayers or showing up how you thought He would. I know this feeling firsthand because I fell victim to it too. And then God showed up - just like He always does.
Allow me to remind you that God still 𝐜𝐚𝐧 and 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 do it. He can still show up for you. He is not limited by time. He has so much in store for me and you. (1 Cor. 2:9)
Nothing is too out of reach for God, nothing is too far gone and no prayer is too big. He has a record of showing up when all hope seems lost, bringing dead things back to life and keeping His promises. In times that I’ve felt alone, left without any options or wondering how I’d make it through, God has remained faithful.
I get frustrated when I don’t have the answers but I was never meant to have all of the answers. I get frustrated when things don’t go my way or happen on my timeline, yet waiting on God has never failed me. His timing and His plan are so much sweeter and better than anything I anticipate or expect - 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲.𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞.𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. (Side note: let’s all corporately thank God that He didn’t give us the things we 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 we wanted. Thank the Lord.)
We all need this reminder from time to time. At the name of Jesus, anything can change. Things that look completely hopeless are not actually hopeless. No matter what you’re facing, I encourage you to speak to your mountain, believe and declare crazy, unreasonable things and let go of small thinking. I believe God wants to amaze you and I believe He can still do it before the year ends.
