Since the kids are at school and my hubby at class, I got out for a run. My legs felt it today. I decided on my insulated vibrams for my run, might have been able to do it without them today, but what's done is done. It took a couple miles for my sore legs to warm up. “Less Drama More Push-Ups” I really miss teaching live classes because I used to love saying funny things like that ⬆️ One of my favorites was always saying “YOU can do anything for a minute”. Who remembers hearing me say that? Another favorite you may hear me say is “YOU got this”. Yesterday, Elli broke her collar bone - it sucked. Seeing her so sad because she was worried about her upcoming dance season (it begins 2/13). Prayers for healing are welcome as she navigates through this injury. 🙏 When I was talking to Elli about her injury she kept focusing on the dance competition that is four weeks away. I sat down and explained to her that she has to think of it as a smaller chunk of time. Similar to coaching someone through holding a plank for a minute or helping someone lose 50 pounds, I coached Elli to not think of the four weeks but instead focus on getting to her Friday’s doctor appointment. Then I told her to focus on what she needs to do between now and Friday. Things like hydrating, resting, eating properly and sleeping a ton will help her heal. I also suggested she listen to her music and do mental walk throughs of all of her dances daily. It’s small action steps that can get her through the first week. I share this because this is exactly how I coach people in my accountability groups. Often times we will focus on baby steps and instead of changing everything at once we will focus on one thing at a time. Small action steps. Have you struggled in the past with changing too much with your wellness routine and then end up quitting. We need to talk. This will set you up to DITCH your resolution. Here’s what I can offer you if you are struggling. Let’s get you started with moving more and focusing on water intake as a priority. Then February 10th we will begin a three week focus on nutrition. Meal plans, meal prepping, help with identifying emotional eating and an emphasis on healthy swaps to make your food taste amazing. Recipe sharing and grocery shopping tips will also be a focus. Make this a lifestyle that you grow into and not something that you have to start and stop. Are you with me? I say this “you can do anything”. DM me for deets

Day #22 of #80dayobsession done! My Fitbit time vs cal burn is off because this workout took me way longer than it should have. I had to pause it multiple times and forgot to pause my watch, then my mom called then Coleman needed something. I love home workouts, but sometimes they don’t go smoothly.
