I spent the morning with my oldest daughter. We played @hpwizardsunite all over downtown Albany. (I'm now calling it Harry Potter Go, 'cause that makes more sense.) We had coffee and talked and laughed. There's a special kind of magic that happens once your kids are out on their own. Coming together for a visit becomes sacred in a non-Sunday best kinda way. You know what I mean? Spending time together is a low key celebration of all the nurturing, sleepless nights, and bliss.
I explored the community where we'll be living (once our house sells). I did this on my own. I spoke with people. I wasn't nervous. I just wanted to find the good there, so I did.
Later, I toured the high school where my mister will be teaching next year. The little-Little will be a freshman, so she's pretty excited. The school is amazing. A three story academic building with a beautiful, expansive courtyard and a band room with all the bells and whistles. (See what I did there?) Pictured is the entryway to the school. Should I call it an atrium? I dunno, y'all. All I know is the place is gorgeous. All I know is the anxiety monster didn't mess with me today. All I know is I'm riding home right now with a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
Hope y'all had a good Monday. Great even. Or fair to middling. Whatever kind of day you had, I'm here to tell you, you're a miracle. You are loved. The world is a better place, because you are in it. Thanks for all the good juju today. I felt it. ❤🌟❤🌟❤ #adventures #newplaces #foreveramama #anxiety #anxietycansuckit #beautyiseverywhere
