10 year challenge ❤️ . First of all— the blonde, though 🤣 . Secondly, this was the least heavily filtered picture I could find of myself 😂😂😂 . Lastly, I feel better at 30 than I did at 20 (well, 30 in a couple months!) . . Here’s to another decade! ❤️

I’ve had a lot of changes, taken some chances, and experienced the world over the last couple years... and I wouldn’t change it for anything! . In life we make decisions that may not always be ideal at the time, but they always lead us to where we are. I truly love to live by “things happen for a reason”. . I love that because of the choices I’ve made I am able to have more time to provide experiences and memories for my little one. There isn’t anything else I could ask for at the moment 💚 . #creatingmemoriesforalifetime #thingshappenforareason #chronicleofq2019

Some weekends in our home are go, go, go. And some are all about rest.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ This weekend is about rest for us.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Just like we’re told not to let our children get overtired, we need to have that same respect for ourselves. Your mind and body are intrinsically connected, and when you don’t allow yourself time to quiet your body you end up pushing it into overdrive.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I don’t know about you, but some days when I just take a few moments to quite my mind, sit and breath, rest my eyes, or drink some coffee in silence I tend to feel a little more grounded and recharged to get through the day.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ What are ways that you try to incorporate rest into your days?⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ (Flashback to over 2 years ago when rest was a little easier to come by 🥰)⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣♡♡♡⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Hard to believe my eldest child turns eight today!! Happy Birthday to my precious Mishka dog ❤️🐶🎉 . This beautiful girl has been there for me through thick and thin... right back to the days when it was just the two of us against the world! . Now poor Mishy has to fight for her mummy's attention with all her pushy younger siblings... Even her (toothless) youngest sister was disrespectful to her elders this morning deciding Mishy's ears looked a bit scrummy.... which she doesn't look too happy about... . . That said, she'd just had a 5km run and swim with her beloved auntie Sam (@ischi_the_dog ), four other fur children and that mischievous baby sister, that she loved, so life can't be too bad for her really 🙌❤️✔️🌅☕🏃🏻‍♀️🐕‍🦺🐩🐶🐕‍🦺🐩👶🏻😃 . #ilovemydog #womansbestfriend #bestdogever #beaglier #crazydoglady

Saturday nights look a little different these days, okay maybe a lot! 😜 Sometimes you might even find me in bed before 9PM 🙈Sometimes I think about the days when we were completely carefree and life was simple but then I remember this is exactly where I want to be and the nights I have dreamt about for so long! These Saturday nights together as our little family are absolutely priceless! I wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

❤️100 workout results as promised....honest, raw and real. 100 workouts later and the difference between these two pictures: minimal.... . I learned a lot about myself during this program. For one- I get bored. I need variety & to me, this program just didn’t keep my attention, motivation and focus. 100 days/100 workouts is a long time. I need more variety and to switch it up more frequently. This program definitely gives good results to those who commit! .....it just wasn’t for me. Secondly, I’m not a quitter and could have given up on this program at any second. I learned that it’s hard to stay committed to my nutrition when I’m not 100% feeling the workouts. . Yeah I pushed hard through each workout, no I didn’t stick with my nutrition. This experience is just proof that for myself, I can workout as hard as ever...but if my nutrition is shitty, my results will be shitty. This program was a learning curve. 👉🏼Today marks day 8/21 and I’m more focused & committed than ever to get back to seeing results 💪🏼

I love anything that saves me time and allows me to have more time to spend doing the things I love. The crockpot is one if the best tools for this. Instead of constantly checking the oven or worrying about my meal. I put it in the crockpot and forgot about it until it was time for dinner. Meal prep doesn't have to be hard. I will have this as the protein for 5 days this week and I'll have it with cauliflower rice, broccoli, or a salad and it took minimal effort on my part. #mealprep #savetime #weightlossjourney #momoftwo #healthylifestyle #coachtameka #healthcoach #postpartumfitnessjourney #weightlossideas #changeyourhabits #changeyourlife #onedayordayone #letsworktogether #mealprepideas

Non scale victories are my favorite. 🎉 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 56 days into my 100 day program & I was able to pull up AND zip my pre-pregnancy skinniest skinny jeans! ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Don’t get me wrong - I’ve still got some ways to go BUT 56 days ago, I couldn’t pull them up past mid thigh!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I couldn’t believe it this morning when I pulled these back out of my bottom drawer to see if they fit so that I could wear something other than leggings to brunch with the girls. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I can’t wait to see where I’m at after the full 100 days after seeing the half way changes - Just by following a simple + flexible meal plan and squeezing in 20-30 minute workouts in between the chaos of mom life. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If I can do this, SO CAN YOU! ⁣⁣ Let’s do this together, sis!⁣ And we’ll celebrate all the tiny victories along the way! ⁣🥂

Getting your body back after having your baby takes consistency and patience. And girl... a whole lot of GRACE! Here I was scanning these photos.. judging myself for no changes over a week. It was a holiday.. and I maintained 😳🤸‍♀️ I literally just wrote a blog telling all of you beautiful women that if you maintain through a holiday, call it a WIN! Because it is!! So why was I beating myself up and being all judgey? I dunno it's like something we girls are taught in grade school... body image is a big deal. Well it's clearly our biggest shame point and I'm just like you the critic when I should be my biggest fan 🤦‍♀️ So if you hovered around the same weight and the same look during your holiday... 🌟YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR🌟 HOP OFF THIS SHAME TRAIN WITH ME!! Look in the mirror and say: (Your name) you are beautiful You are a badass KEEP GOING! TAG your friends that you want to hop off the train with you... YOUR BESTIES!! 🚂🚃🚃🛑

I’ve been struggling for awhile with my body image. I know I just had a baby but I definitely compare myself to all the women that lost the weight within weeks. I talked about it in my story awhile back but I have not been one of those women. I’ve been holding onto the last 20 pounds and there’s nothing I can really do about it because I’m breastfeeding and need to make sure I’m getting enough calories for that so it’s been tough. After thanksgiving and my bday weekend was rough because my weight went up again 😭 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Having a baby has def made me not care as much about how I look because I just made the most perfect human and I wouldn’t trade that for the skinniest body, biggest glutes, or ANYTHING. But I do still struggle sometimes (like when I forget and wear jeans and then feel miserable all day because I forget how much I hate jeans 😅) #leggingsarelife ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re in the same boat you are not alone! We’re in this together and I just want you to not feel discouraged because it’s OKAY! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One thing I do to help myself feel confident is TAN! It’s amazing what a tan can do. I’ve been trying out @fitcoveraustralia new self tanner and I’m in love! It checks off all the boxes for what I look for in a self tanner. It dries fast, doesn’t stink, it’s actually dark enough for me, lasts a week, doesn’t bleed onto and stain everything, and the guide color is nice because I can tan in the morning and go run errands and not look like a freak 😅 I highly recommend you try it out! You can use my link in my bio and code ‘CourtneyW’ to save!

I have been in a funk lately. I felt like I had lost my inspiration. I was born a helper. I will always be a helper. But sometimes, being a helper in your career, your side job, and your community can wear you out, especially when others take advantage of your generosity.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I help others because that is what I LOVE to do. I help others because that is what I was RAISED to do. Even if it wears me out, I will continue to help others because that is what I know how to do.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I will continue going above and beyond to help my students, my coworkers, my family, my friends, my clients, and my community. I will not allow those who take advantage of my helping & generous qualities to wear me out any longer.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ With that being said, I am here & ready to help YOU! ⁣ ⁣ Could you use some support getting through the holiday season in a healthy but balanced manner? “So, how much weight did you lose?” - Me: 🤷‍♀️ - I mean, let’s look at it this way... my weight fluctuates about 3-5 pounds DAILY depending on a number of factors. So, I could make it sound really good and tell you I lost 6 pounds this week (the biggest fluctuation I saw) and you’d be like OMG! Or I could tell you I lost just a couple pounds this week and you’d be like well, that’s good. OR, I could tell you I lost nothing and you’d be like oh 😒 guess it isn’t working then. - #amirightoramiright - Except, it IS working. Better than I’d expect actually. Besides the fact that I just FEEL better, I also: - 1️⃣ am 53 reps faster than I was last week. 2️⃣ am 44 reps stronger than I was last week. 3️⃣ am modifying less in my workouts. 4️⃣ am rocking my favorite pre-pregnancy jeans at 10 weeks postpartum (⬅️this one’s my favorite!) - ...see where I’m going with this? - If you can step on that scale, see that number, and step off feeling the exact same way you did before you stepped on, keep going, boo. But, if you’re stepping on that scale and attaching any amount of emotion to what you see staring back at you, girl, you better drop that shit quick and start focusing on all the other wins that actually mean something. - That number is nothing more than information. Your success is more than that number. Your worth is more than that number. YOU are more than that number. - Now that that’s clear... what’s one non-scale victory you’re celebrating today? • • • • • • #effthescale #nonscalevictories #nonscalevictoriesarethebest #postpartumfitness #postpartumfitnessjourney #10weekspostpartum #prepregnancyjeans #wearitagain

Trainers are not perfect. I didn’t track macros for 3 months. Not because I didn’t WANT to, but I just couldn’t make myself. I’d have 3 days on, then eat DQ blizzards Friday-Sunday. I’m not the body type who can eat whatever I want a stay small. ALL my extra weight goes to my stomach. So eventually, enough was enough. I was at a point where I was insecure about the way I was looking. So right then and there, I said “I’m getting back on plan”. And I have been back on track for a month now. Here’s my point. You will NOT be successful until you are truly READY for change. You cannot be half in and half out on the idea of progression. You have to truly want it. You have to have had enough of your current circumstances. You have to believe that you deserve BETTER. My other point is, you can ALWAYS begin again, begin from experience. Start fresh. Get back on the horse after falling off. As long as you’re still breathing, it’s never too late for you to change the course of your life.

Back to Metafit this morning 12 weeks postpartum 🙌🏽. I snapped a photo afterwards & thought how crazy the human body is. I thought to myself.... 12 weeks ago I was 24 hours into induced labour, in lots of pain & literally didn’t know what day it was 🥺, fast forward 4 weeks i was able to go for a walk but not far because it felt uncomfortable, fast forward to 8 weeks i re-joined the gym very gently. I remember I couldn’t jog on the spot for a warm up because it didn’t feel good. Fast forward 12 weeks & we ran around the studio to warm up then did the class today 🙏🏻. 🖐🏽 tips to drink more water! 💦 1. Have a favorite water bottle! 🔑 Get yourself a cute water bottle that you love and can carry around easily. Make sure it's one that fits in the cup holder in your car, and that it's easy to drink out of. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it'll make a huge difference! 2. Make it EASY! If you want to drink more water, but you just have a gallon of water sitting in your fridge, there's a good chance you won't randomly go to the kitchen, pull out a cup, open the fridge and pour yourself a glass. It's just too many steps. To make it easier, take that cute new water bottle we just talked about, and keep it with you all the time. Leave it on your desk while you work. Keep it on your nightstand so you see it when you wake up. Just seeing your water will help you drink it more often. 3. Attach it to another habit. 🔗 I made a rule to drink half my water bottle before I get out of bed every morning. Your rules could be drinking a certain amount of water after brushing your teeth, or before eating, or drinking coffee. - 4. Add stuff to it. 🍋🍓🍊 if you just don't like drinking plain water, adding things to it might help. Not only does it make the water taste better, but adding slices of lemon, cucumber, strawberries or mint leaves can help in areas such as digestion and pH balance too. 5. Order water when you go out. This is so easy! If your the type of person that just had to have soda with their meal, then only order a soda after you've finished a full glass of water. Afterwards, you might not even want the soda. 🤷🏽‍♀️ - Don't forget to click the bookmark button on the right to save this post for later! ☝🏽 - - - #beyondfitnessca #eatwell #stayhydrated #healthyfood #healthyeating #healthylifestyle #healthydiet #healthymeal #selfloveclub #nontoxicliving #liveinspired #mindandbody #fitmommy #strongmomma #momswhoworkout #fitmomgoals #momfitness #momworkout #postpartumfitnessjourney #athomefitness #bodykindness #bodypositivity #fitnessgoals #fitnessmotivation #fittips #postpartum #postpartumfitness #fitmomsofig #fitfortwo #2under2 via @preview.app

Workout because you love your body, not because you hate it! Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It's necessary! When you take care of yourself first, then you are able to care for your loved ones even better. I feel like they get the best of me, not just what is left of me now. And they know Mommy needs to workout so she doesn't go crazy! Which wouldn't be a long trip lol It makes our whole house happier when I'm feeling my best. So taking 30 minutes this morning to focus on me has got my endorphins flowing, my mind clear and I'm ready to give them my all, after a much needed shower 🥵 Is that how it is in your house? If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

It all starts by saying Yes! You have no idea what you're capable of... . Were you offended after reading that statement or excited at the possibilities that you may have never thought of before? AMAZING POSSIBILITIES at that!. . . One thing I've learned as a teacher and coach is how to help others get to know themselves so that they can see the incredible possibilities that are before them. Most of the time, it is hard to see what opportunities are available to us and what can be achieved. It is not until we step back to get a better perspective, a better view of what is really going on that we can begin to start doing what we are truly capable of. . . How will you use the remaining 24 days of the decade to utilize the gifts and talents that you have? . . What are the barriers stopping you?

Goals: to help YOU find more Ⓕ Ⓤ Ⓝ 🤩 and enjoyment out of your health & fitness journey. ⠀ ⠀ Personally, it’s pretty dang hard to stick to something and show up everyday as your best self if what ever you’re doing is sucking the life out of you! OUR job is to actually have fun😂 - no really, it is - and show you that you can too, and that this process of getting healthy doesn’t have to suck. Coaching isn’t about the nitty gritty details of running a business (that’ll come down the road, once you start building & growing!), having perfect instagram photos, or having all the time in the world (because all of us are busy bees!) - it’s about showing up for 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 , finding love and enjoyment in the process, and sharing that with others. Trust me when I tell you, 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄✨.⠀ ⠀ Come tune in with our team starting tomorrow over at @purposefullyfitlife to learn a little more about what we do, and if it could be a good fit for you too! ⠀ ⠀ Don’t underestimate yourself girl, you’re meant to do GREAT things & to have a dang good time doing it!

Finally made it back to #parkrun 🥳🥳 . I nearly didn’t go because it fell right around the time that Kacie needed feeding and I had super mum-guilt, but thanks to my wonderful husband and sister for encouraging me to go and take that bit of ‘me time’ and I’m really glad I did! . I did it with a lovely lady who was doing walk/jog pace, but as it was only me and her doing it we did less of the jogging! I had a little goal for myself of sub-50 and we did it in 48.10 🥳. . With the walk there and back it made 4.5miles for the day banked for @runup2christmas and I feel reset and ready to fight another day! 💪🏼 . Hopefully next week I can take Kacie with me 🥰. 1️⃣4️⃣km down, 3️⃣6️⃣Km to go ✅. . #parkrunlove #parkrunaddict #runuptochristmas #ru2c #runningmum

I love knowing that I'm setting a good example for my kids with each workout and healthy decision I make. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's so important to keep your body healthy before, during AND after a baby! It's definitely not easy, but this is a reminder that it's not an excuse to neglect your body & for you to be that example for your family. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was in a funk the last couple of days, probably because i hadn't worked out in a couple days. But I knew that if I got up, did my workout, drank my Shakeology & took a shower I would feel 100 times more ready for the day...and I was right. My workouts have become a must in my way otherwise I'm completely off the whole day.

I embarked on this journey because I was broken. ⠀⠀ I was unhealthy and had horrible habits my entire life. I thoroughly disliked the last corporate job I had because it wasn’t fulfilling. I placed blame on everyone else deflecting my role in most things. I numbed my emotions with food and alcohol...the list goes on. ⠀⠀ Then I got pregnant...surprise! I wasn’t just responsible for me anymore. I had a Ellie and by trying out this opportunity I found myself and TRUE happiness for the first time in my life. ⠀⠀ When I found out I was pregnant with Emmie I had an amazing journey planned out. I was going to continue this coaching/fitness/business sharing opportunity the entire time! It was gonna be great!! I just thought about all the people I could help along the way. ⠀⠀ But that’s not what happened. Hormones, weight gain, HORMONES drove me into a complete state of hibernation and I couldn’t face the world anymore. I failed and was broken again. ⠀⠀ I’m posting a lot now, I’m sharing a lot now...WHY because I couldn’t for a year and half. I couldn’t find my voice and I didn’t have the courage to speak up. I have a lot to say and share with others that are suffering like I did. Because you’re not alone. You don’t have to have children to not be truly happy in your current life...this world presents so many factors keeping us from it. So it takes work. ⠀⠀ Here’s the difference in my story...when the time came I decided to fix my self and I jumped back into this opportunity and gift I was given. I found my happiness again...it took 16 months but I found it, I fought for it. ⠀⠀ I’ve had people not recognize me, I’ve had people compliment me and I know that I’m radiating joy. And it’s AMAZING! ⠀⠀ It takes hard work. But you don’t have to do it alone. You can change your life and be happy again. What’s broken can always be fixed😘

Ok. So my anxiety was never THAT bad. I never took medication for it. I never missed work because of it. But it was never that good either. . I would get that tightness in my neck and shoulders when something wouldn’t go the way I expected. I would get that knot in my stomach. I would worry. I would overthink my decisions. I would second guess my decisions. 🤔 I would worry that I was going to have anxiety about something. . I wouldn't want to leave the house with the girls because I would worry that we'd be gone too long and mess up their nap schedule. Or be somewhere and one or both of them would have a meltdown. 😡😭 . I had a vision of how our days would go, depending on what we had planned or who we we're visiting, and if there was a slight change of plans, it would completely throw me off. I would be stressed about the change and would put me in a funk for hours. Not a lot of fun for any of us. 😏 . And if you had asked me then if I had anxiety, I would have said no. Partly because I didn't recognize it for what it was. And partly because I would have been too embarrassed to admit it. . And then one day with 2 little ones to care for, I got to that point when I decided I needed to see if I could do something about it. To give my babes a different example to follow. To see if I could find some peace in these days when I felt so overwhelmed from too much to do and not enough time. . And I’m so grateful that I said enough is enough, and decided to give myself a shot to make a change. I’m ready to help ✨5 busy mamas✨ who want to make that change too. Drop a ❤️ below or shoot me a message and let’s do this together! 👯‍♀️

To everyone brainstorming their new years resolutions this month: Yes, dream Yes, set goals Please, shoot for the moon. But know this: The calendar turning will only give you a short spurt of motivation You will not magically wake up in January 1, 2020 a new person Your shiny new gym membership will not shed the lbs or sweat away the stress FOR you The excuses will creep in. The insecurities will come out The lies will continue to whisper “monday. Next month. Next year.” Unless you have a reason WHY. Not abs. Not weight loss. Not a flat tummy. No, it needs to go deeper than that. Beating a family history of heart disease. Being able to chase your kid around the playground again. Keeping up with your hubby on a beach run. Not waking up to a chest heavy with anxiety. Living past the age of 51. Dream. Set your goal. Find your why. And make an attainable plan. With accountability. Something you won’t be able to causally let slip. And in case you didn’t know: You don’t have to wait until January 1st. You can start today. You can start now.

Glute Activation 🍑 - - I will never go back to my normal lower body routine after this!! 🔥 - Normally on leg day I skip a big warm up because I don’t want to fatigue myself - but holy cow you guys! 🍑🍑🔥 - I have NEVER had such a good booty pump after doing 1-2 of these glute activation exercises before starting my workout! 🔥🔥 - Before: I didn’t feel my glutes engaging as much as they should be during squats. I always felt the fatigue in my quads rather than my hamstrings & glutes! - After doing 2 of these exercises: I felt the burn {more engagement} & fatigue in my hamstrings & glutes! My booty was on FIRE & that’s how it should be if you’re looking to grow it! 🍑🔥 - - You can use this workout to isolate your booty OR you can choose 1-2 of these to use as your warm up before your leg day! I know I’ll be doing 1-2 of these EVERY time. 🔥🔥🔥 - - Workout: ▫️ 3x12 {each side} Banded donkey kicks ▫️ 3x12 {each side} Banded fire hydrant ▫️ 3x20 Banded glute bridge + Hip abduction ▫️ 3x20 {10 each leg} Banded reverse lunges ▫️ 3x20 {each side} Banded straight leg kickbacks ▫️ 3x12 Banded squats - - Song Look At Her Now by Selena Gomez

Not the best quality pic but this was #2weekspostpartum and everything still looks like this so I thought, why not 🤷🏼‍♀️ I feel good. I’m happy. Seeing my belly push forward like I’m 20 weeks pregnant instead of early postpartum really doesn’t bother me. (Though I may have some abdominal separation that would need to be resolved, but that’s a story for another time) Here’s the deal: I’ve stopped accepting that the world defines what #postpartum looks like. Tbh, we have done a terrible job in modern society embracing and educating on #womanhood really looks like, what is normal, and even what is abnormal. So what most people believe to be “normal,” about postpartum is wrong and founded on misinformation #facts The uterus takes 6-8 WEEKS to return to pre-baby size. And even then, it takes up space people! In summary- I’ve given up on society when it comes to figuring out what standard I should hold my body to. I’m looking for #HEALTH , not lies and misinformation sown into our era by Satan as a direct attack on women and God’s creation. . . . . . #postpartumfitnessjourney #postpartumhealth #perinatalhealth #5weekspostpartumbody #momoftwo #honestmotherhood #authenticmotherhood #imperfectionisbeauty #motherhoodintheraw #uplift #showup #womensupportwomen #authenticityguaranteed #wordsofencouragement #postpartumreality

#𝗪𝐡𝐲𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐒𝐨𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝𝗪𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐌𝐞⁣ ⁣ I was told this morning that I was Obsessed with myself!? Really? Well let me just explain something to you!⁣ ⁣ 1 month ago I was hiding behind the camera and only taking selfies from a certain angle because it slimmed me out (don't act like you don't know that angle).⁣ ⁣ I was eating everything that was doing more damage to my body than helping it!⁣ I hated the reflection in the mirror. I wore a full piece bathing suit so no one would see or comment on my fat rolls, cellulite, or scars.⁣ ⁣ But you know what I used that as my motivation to change! I stopped making excuses and started putting in the work! ⁣ ⁣ I don't post my progress pictures for the "𝘰𝘩𝘩𝘩 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦" or to hear how great I look...I post them as accountability for myself and to let that 𝐎𝐍𝐄 person know she is not alone! That I have your back and will always be your biggest cheerleader!⁣ ⁣ So in my husband's words "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘖𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧..𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵! But when you do feel free to fill out my application (in my bio “Let me help you”) and we can figure out what we can do to help 𝐘𝐎𝐔 become 𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 with 𝐘𝐎𝐔 again!!! 😘🤗💕

Restoration * There is no denying that regular exercise does wonders for our bodies, but do you know what else does?! Recovery. * It felt great during pregnancy and now as I recover from a c-section and work out the kinks from falling asleep in a chair at all hours of the night, but it's important no matter what stage of life you're in! * In fact, recovery days are just as important as workouts it you're regularly incorporating vigorous exercise into your life! * Take the time to let your body (and mind) heal this weekend amidst the holiday busyness and stress!

Sooo hot this morning that my running friends and I all looked like we'd been swimming only a couple of minutes into our effort... 🏃🏻‍♀️🌅🐶👶🏻😝 . Then had a difficult choice to make at the end between a refreshing soda with fresh passionfruit or my usual almond flat white...🍹☕🤔 I'm such a creature of habit I went with the coffee but had drink envy for those who chose the alternative 🤷😬 #firstworldproblems #hotrun #sunshinecoast #strollerrun #runningwithmydog

You gained some weight? So what. So maybe you've gained some weight over the holidays. Maybe you've lost some weight then gained it back. Maybe you just tried working out for the first time in forever and couldn't keep up. So what?!! That's what happened and now you're here. Each day you have the chance to start fresh so don't let that go to waste. It's okay if you've gained the weight back. It's okay if you're not where you want to be. If you're not where you want to be then start right now. Start your day one and handle it the best you know how. It won't be easy and even if you feel like you didn't do good enough, you tried. Trying is good enough. You started. Wherever you're at, its never too late to work towards something more. Everyone and everything in the world could be against you but I know that you can do it. I know that you can push past anything. You may not know it now but you're going to show up one day and surprise yourself. You're here now. Don't look back, don't look forward. Focus on what little thing you can do today to get one step closer. Let go of the guilt and move forward.

The Rollover 😋🍍🍩🍯 Great for toning arms, shoulders and spinal mobility. It’s honestly like a massage to me! As we gear up to leave for our visit to France on Sunday I’m trying to get in as many juicy exercises and stretches as possible before our 11 hour plane ride. I get so stiff when traveling and I am totally that person stretching on the floor at the gate and on the plane with my long legs all over the place 🤸🏽‍♀️🤣. The #SpinalArticulation with the legs off the ground in this exercise is wonderful and creamy when taken slowly. I’m tight in my thoracic spine so I get the most from it by really focusing on keeping my neck neutral and the back of my arms and shoulders glued to the mat. It feels so yummy! #Pilates #PilatesTeacher #PilatesEveryday #SpinalHealth #HealthySpine #PilatesInstructor #PostpartumFitnessJourney #MamaBirdPilates #AdvancedPilates

Here are few amazing band exercises for nice looking glutes and healthy pelvic floor muscles. These exercises are challenging if done right even though they look easy 😅 Try them and if you like it, add them to your weekly routine. I am sure you’ll notice the benefits soon 😀 1️⃣ Glute bridge with abduction on top x15 2️⃣ Banded reverse lunge x15 per leg 3️⃣ Single leg glute bridge x15 per leg Do this as a warmup, finisher or entire workout (repeat 3-5 times if so). . . . . . #diastasisrecti #diastasisrectirepair #diastasisrectirecovery #diastaseabdominal #abdominalseperation #pelvicfloordysfunction #pelvicfloorhealth #pelvicfloormuscles #pelvicfloorrehab #postpartumabs #mummytummy #momabs #postpartumbody #birthrecovery #postpartumfitness #postpartumbelly #postpartumweightloss #newmum #newmom #momfitness #fitmoms #fitmomof4 #postpartumfitnessjourney #postpartumtransformation #weightlossafterbaby

Postpartum progress update number 3🙃 12 weeks postpartum 189lbs down 1lbs from my weight at 10 weeks. (inducement day weight 229lbs) I am still far from where I want to be but I’m glad I’ve been documenting my progress so I can see it for myself 😊 these last 2 weeks were... interesting. I still struggle to find the time/motivation to workout and don’t really get to do the kind of workouts I’d like to do. Samiya always seems to need something while I’m working out no matter how hard I try to prepare lol Not to mention thanksgiving was last week as well. My ingrown toenails have improved thanks to some antibiotics but they still aren’t completely better🙄 just a bad side affect of my feet swelling and shrinking rapidly after delivery. I’ve always took care of my feet so this is really messing with my mental. I’ve had to show my raggedy looking feet in sandals for over a month now 🥴 My pre pregnancy weight was about 160 but my ideal weight is 150/155. I’ve kinda fell off of the 16:8 intermittent fasting but I’m still doing some fasting. I have a bad habit of snacking while I relax once I finally am able to get Samiya to sleep at night. I’ve worked out 2-3x week but the workouts are lighter than what I’d prefer. In a couple weeks I’ll be able to mooch of my dads 24hr fitness membership when I go to Seattle for Christmas so I’ll be able to turn up the intensity then 🤞🏼 I’ll be checking back in on the 27th so turn on your post notifications and watch me shrink and tone 🤗 #SammiisMomBod #MomBod #PostpartumFitnessJourney #PostpartumFitness #Health #Wombanhood #Motherhood #SammiiHadABaby #MomThoughtsWithSammii #MomThoughts

I tried a new YouTube workout this morning and regretted it. ⁣ ⁣ The instructor just seemed to make every move so complicated. I spent so much time trying to figure out which limb was supposed to go where that I ran out of time to actually do anything. ⁣ ⁣ Not good for uncoordinated people like me 😅 I feel so frustrated now. The right workout makes all the difference.

For all our new mamas, we’re sure someone along the way has encouraged you to sleep when baby sleeps. Sometimes that’s easier said then done- like if baby is only sleeping for short amounts of time or you are trying to get things done around the house while baby sleeps. Don’t be too wrapped up in the tasks you need to complete like, cleaning the house or laundry. Lean on supports from your partner, friends & family to get those tasks done when possible, so you can get some much needed zzzz! Sleep helps the body heal during this postpartum period, helps you be at your best for those late night feedings & can help decrease risk of depression- which is a great benefit for anyone dealing with baby blues. This postpartum period where you are getting to know your baby is such a special time, don’t worry about the things that don’t matter. Worry about taking care of you, baby & healing! . . . . . . . . . #newmommylife #newmomstruggles #fitmama #fitmamalife #newmommy #newmommyproblems #newmomproblems #newbaby #infantsleep #infantfeeding #mombod #sleepymom #sleepymommy #postpartumfitnessjourney #postpartumbody #bodyafterbaby #postpartumselfcare #selfcare #postpartumdepression #postpartumjourney #postpartumhealing #takingcareofme #babyblues #postpartummotherhood #motherhood #thatmomlife #postpartumsupport #postpartumrecovery

W A L K // J O G ⠀⠀ Spending hours lifting weights or doing cardio is fun and all... ⠀⠀ But getting outside and moving is a mood/muscle booster for the whole family! Plus you don’t need a Dr’s note to get started postpartum 😉 ⠀⠀ (Pictured here: My oldest and I getting our game plan together for tackling the next few miles 😉)

And yet still keep them grounded. It’s a delicate balance we’re still working on with our independent children. 😄🙌🤯 Any tips?!
