Ook wel de slaapopwekkende adem genoemd werd ontdekt door Andrew Weil, een arts uit Arizona.

Deze is gebasseerd op de tijdloze pranayama-oefeningen uit de yoga en staat bekend om de kalmerende invloed op het zenuwstelsel en het vermogen om iemand snel te laten inslapen.

Deze relaxatie-oefening reguleert maw het sympatich systeem (gaspedaal) naar het para-sympatisch systeem (rempedaal) en geeft het zenuwstelsel het signaal dat je veilig bent.

VERLOOP:
➊ Ga op je rug liggen.
➋ Adem eerst een keer volledig uit door je mond en laat je lichaam in het bed zakken.
➌ Leg het puntje van je tong tegen je verhemelte op het randje achter je boventanden.
➍ ADEM 4 seconden in door je neus en houd je adem 7 seconden vast
➎ Adem op de 8e seconde met een zacht woesj-geluid uit door je terwijl je je tong weer onder in je mond laat rusten
➏ Ga zo door tot je in slaap valt. ➳ Dit is 1 ademhalingscyclus. Herhaal 4 tot 8 cycli per dag.

Test de oefening gerust even uit voor je gaat slapen of wanneer je niet in slaap geraakt en laat me even weten wat je ervaring was🙏

Primeiro de Junho - voltaram os atendimentos de urgência e emergencia. 
Estamos cumprindo com todo protocolo pra evitar qqr tipo de contaminação. Estamos ainda mais rigorosos, a tensão de fazer tudo direito é grande. A cabeça fica a mil, neurônios a milhão por hora, mas entre um atendimento e outro, paro respiro, faço meu pranayama para controlar a mente e controlar o SN  simpatico. 
Confesso não está sendo fácil, essas máscaras são desconfortáveis e desajeitadas, até

Minha intenção com está prática é abrir percepções refinadas sobre o próprio Eu. Uma fuga do campo automático de percepções restritas para reconhecermos a presença  deste estado mais amplo e sensível, o corpo energético. Desta forma, proponho que o auto-estudo possa reverberar sobre as nossas percepções coletivas e que possamos abrir este olhar sensível sobre as necessidades sociais/ humanas.

Just consider what the POINT of your yoga and meditation practice is. . . Is yoga and meditation just a form of spiritual masturbation for you? Is it just to make yourself feel better about yourself? . . OR - does it help you center yourself so you may be of service to your community? Does it help inspire you to lead others towards ACTION? What action? Community service? Public outreach? Protests? Activism? Voting? . . If it's not helping you DO something, your yoga is fucking useless. . . Het wordt verder een pittige flow (ohwyeah) met wat driepotige dolfijnen (yay!) en ander leuks. Vandaag gaan we nét iets meer focussen op de ademhaling. Traag en krachtig —> extra verdieping in de houdingen. Er zijn wat variaties in de flow aangeboden, maar het blijft pittig. Tip: maak de vinyasa flows softer door de lage plank en updog’s te skippen en meteen van plank naar downdog te gaan. Of naar childpose 🙂 .

🧘🏼‍♂️🧘🏼‍♂️Para la práctica del yoga la respiración es muy importante, (mejora la capacidad de concentración, baja la tensión arterial y las pulsaciones en reposo, mejora la movilidad del diafragma, etc) por lo que hay que trabajarla a diario. 
Un ejercicio muy básico para mejorar la respiración es la respiración por una sola fosa. Esta respiración se realiza por la nariz, tapando la fosa derecha con el pulgar de la mano derecha y la fosa izquierda con el dedo meñique y anular de la misma mano. 
Cada inspiración y expiración se hace sin cambiar de fosa nasal. 
Se realizará en una proporción 1:2, es decir, se inspira 4 segundos y se expira 8 segundos. Antes de aumentar el tiempo a 6:12 es importante dominar la anterior.

Para esta práctica es conveniente me tener la cabeza, el cuello y la columna formando una línea recta.

🧘🏼‍♂️🧘🏼‍♂️Para la práctica del yoga la respiración es muy importante, (mejora la capacidad de concentración, baja la tensión arterial y las pulsaciones en reposo, mejora la movilidad del diafragma, etc) por lo que hay que trabajarla a diario. Un ejercicio muy básico para mejorar la respiración es la respiración por una sola fosa. Esta respiración se realiza por la nariz, tapando la fosa derecha con el pulgar de la mano derecha y la fosa izquierda con el dedo meñique y anular de la misma mano. Cada inspiración y expiración se hace sin cambiar de fosa nasal. Se realizará en una proporción 1:2, es decir, se inspira 4 segundos y se expira 8 segundos. Antes de aumentar el tiempo a 6:12 es importante dominar la anterior. Para esta práctica es conveniente me tener la cabeza, el cuello y la columna formando una línea recta. #yogalife #yogamen #pranayama

GESTAÇÃO REAL - PARTE 4

O descolamento do saco gestacional

Antes de engravidar, nunca tinha ouvido falar disso... comecei a pesquisar e descobri que muitas mulheres passam por esse contratempo no início da gravidez.

Então vamos lá, deixar aqui uma informação de utilidade pública! O descolamento do saco gestacional ou hematoma subcoriônico é basicamente um acúmulo de sangue entre o saco gestacional e a parede do útero, podendo levar a um aborto espontâneo. As principais causas para o descolamento do saco gestacional são as quedas nos níveis hormonais e impactos na gestante. No meu caso, eu sinto que tive esse problema devido ao estresse e agitação no meu dia a dia. Como disse anteriormente, descobri a gestação e não mudei em nada o meu ritmo frenético! Pra piorar, minha mãe foi internada com uma infecção e eu quase morri de preocupação durante o tempo que ela estava no hospital.

De acordo com a obstetra Dra. Juliana Torres Alzuguir Snel Corrêa, o descolamento de saco gestacional é uma condição grave, que precisa de acompanhamento médico. Quando o descolamento não é maior que 50% é possível reverter o quadro com repouso e uso de medicação prescrita pelo obstetra.

Eu me enquadrei em um descolamento moderado. Fiz um repouso parcial (parei atividade física, yoga e ficava mais horas deitada do que em pé) e fiz uso da progesterona, o que deixou meus hormônios bem loucos (mais do que o normal). Em uma próxima postagem da #gestacaoreal conto como foi esse repouso forçado e o que eu senti durante esse período inevitável, o qual agradeço por ter passado! *A ideia é fazer uma pausa e um convite para seu corpo, mantendo um estado de abertura e presença para a escuta interna. Deixar que seu corpo flua na prática e seja seu porta-voz.

O baralho pode ser utilizado para uma prática pessoal, em grupo, ou por professores em aulas. Para utilizá-lo como um oráculo, comece sempre estabelecendo uma intenção, um sankalpa, concentre-se durante alguns instantes no seu corpo, embaralhando as cartas. Quando sentir-se pronto, faça uma tiragem de quantas desejar e inicie a sua prática, percebendo como suas intenções podem estar refletidas no corpo e na mente. O asana se torna a pergunta, e durante a pausa entre um asana e outro você observa a resposta.

Esta mesma dinâmica pode ser feita em grupo, onde cada um tira uma ou quantas cartas desejar e então todos constroem juntos a prática. O interessante aqui, é que partimos do objetivo individual para o coletivo. Também é possível você escolher cada carta que deseja, montando sua prática a partir de uma escolha consciente e relacionando-as com aquilo que você deseja fazer. The truth is, there are too many to list! 😍

We want to focus on 3 and share those with you, in hopes that one particularly resonates with you, and inspires you to start up the practice again, if not for the first time!

The first benefit is that of reducing stress and relieving anxiety. 
When we face changes in life, these can be draining and stressful times. As we go through adjustments and transitions, such as starting a new job or moving to a new country, there is a great deal of uncertainty we face. These situations can be very emotionally and mentally draining, and it may get overwhelming at times with so many new worries and unfamiliar situations. But this is exactly where Yoga fits in to help. 
This practice helped me so much when I moved to Toronto as it that allows you to be present, and focus only on the moment, only on your breath. It allows the issues in your life to melt away, even if just for 30 minutes, and empowers you to see challenges with new clarity. By taking a step back from the rush and overwhelming nature of life, it is possible to regain confidence in yourself to face any adversity head on, and prioritize a plan. To be honest, since I got started, I never stopped practicing.
