Struggle finding granola bars or breakfast bars without added sugar?
Lately I have been looking for ways to continually cut out added sugars. It’s been hard lol. HOWEVER, there are ways to transform some of your favorite products to make them a little better for you! These oatmeal bars are one of my favs, a real crowd pleaser, and can be used for breakfast, snacks or as a yogurt topping. I added a dollop of @chobani yogurt on top and the snack monSTAR couldn’t keep his hands off lol.
Here ya go: ... OMG Oatmeal Bars
1 c milk of choice (I used whole @fairlife)
1 Large banana
5 Pitted deglet noor dates
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2 tbsp Canola Oil
2.5 c @quaker Rolled Oats
1.5 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1. In a blender, blend milk, banana, dates, eggs, vanilla and canola oil together until smooth. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together
3. Combine milk mixture and oat mixture until well combined.
4. Pour into coated glass dish (I used 6”x12.8”) 5. Cook at 350 for 30 min or until golden brown
Makes about 18 squares!
Optional add ins: - Walnuts or dried 🍒(anti-inflammatory) - Vanilla Protein powder (💪🏾 gains) - Avocado 🥑 (❤️ and 🧠 Health + added moisture). .
