“Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.” ― Keith Richards
If you haven't already seen America's Got Talent, Golden Buzzer act, Kodi Lee, you should. He's a young man who sang and performed an emotionally beautiful song on piano. Kodi is also both autistic and blind. I used to work as an ABA for children with autism. It was challenging work, but I have a great amount of respect for the individuals and their families' resiliency. Autism is a spectrum disorder, so every case differs, and I am always so amazed at how unique their POV is. These days, I work in a very visual world of photography, art, design, and fashion. Truthfully, I don't know what I would do if I lost my vision. I think I would be very lost, but I am so touched that in Kodi's case, he has found a way to connect to a world of people who may not ordinarily understand his, through music!
