Movie Review: Spider-Man Far From Home
I really enjoyed the first MCU spiderman movie and all the other ones he’s been in, also Tom Holland is my favourite spiderman so i was really excited for this movie. Im happy to say that I was not disappointed in the slightest and it even exceeded my expectations by a lot. The main thing I loved was peter parkers story and the themes it deals with, the whole theme of him wanting to be a teenager and just go on a vacation with a girl but at the same time he has the responsibility to be spiderman and saving the world, I thought that was excellently done. It fits right into the MCU and where it is going, as the world would be looking for the next Iron-man and the expectation would be for spiderman to be it, however he just wants to be a teenager, to me that is something unique about this movie. I also just love the continuation on of the story, Happy and Nick Fury helping out spiderman like they did Iron Man, and seeing spiderman start to fill in the role of Iron man (Loved the creating the suit scene). Along with that the way teenagers are handled in the spiderman movies are perfect, they act like real teenagers today, the constantly take photos and are awkward at times, it makes the movie feel very authentic. The love story is also excellently done, in regard to teenage romance and it's feels very relatable. Like the first one this movie is very funny and it had me laughing a lot, I like how all the characters have their funny moments instead of just one comic relief character. The action was great and very intense at time, it had a different feel to a lot of other superhero movies and was good to see spiderman with knowledge on how to fight, something he wasn’t great at in the first few movies. The CGI also really helped this as it was excellent which made the actions scenes feel very real. The villain in this was another great one and one of my favourites, his turn was kind of expected from me as that what happens in the comics,, but it still didn’t make it bad, I also thought he was an intimidating villain with some crazy tech and skills.
