So I finally got into @sportscraft to try on their extended size range, and (oh boy!) is my wallet going to regret that decision. Check out my stories for a full review From the Fitting Room. .
This is my favourite piece - and this suit fit like a glove. Jacket and pants both size 18 - unfortunately this one isn’t part of their plus size collection, and is available in a 6-18. .
I don’t want to take the gloss of my great changeroom session - because I was seriously impressed and loved everything. The fit was perfect for me as a size 18... BUT because only some items come in plus (18-24) and there’s no ‘plus size section’ in the store, I felt like I was shopping blind knowing what was in plus and what not... and as it turned out, nothing I actually tried on was part of their extended size range! 🤦🏼♀️ serious fail. I mean, it’s great for me that being a size 18, I could try absolutely everything on (and they had EVERYTHING in my size available to try on) but I think my experience would be very different if I had been a 20 - I would have had no idea what would fit me. So, I guess, I’m all up for a totally integrated store with no separate ‘plus size section’ IF everything goes up to the max size - but when it’s only selected items, it made it much harder to navigate. Clearly, because I drove all the way across Brisbane to specifically try on plus items and still didn’t manage it. Tell me your thoughts below!
