I sommeren 2018 - tog jeg en beslutning om at jeg ville ud af min negative hverdag. De negative tanker jeg havde forplantet mit hovede med. Tanker som ofte drev mig ud i svære problemer, samlet med et liv bundet til psykiatrien, med ugentlige samtaler. Det var fest, farver og et miljø befængt i alkohol, og sene byture som blev valgt fra. En vennekreds af mange, jeg sorterede fra. Alkoholen drog mig væk fra problemerne i tidernes morgen, jeg brugte det for at få smerterne væk, selv mine egne tilvalgte problemer. Flere gange, endte jeg med at drikke mig så fuld, at jeg måtte med en ambulance. Det var pinligt, ydmygende OG, jeg skulle virkelig bare ud af dét. Folk snakkede, folk vidste hvem jeg var. De havde set mig, blive båret hen mod en ambulance, for hver bytur jeg tog ud i. Én dag, valgte jeg at ændret ALT! Alt fordi, JEG havde en drøm. En drøm om at få et bedre liv, skabe en bedre tilværelse for mig selv. Jeg ville ikke sidde og være en person, som forlængst havde smidt sit potentiale væk - fordi min fortid var belagt i baghovedet på mig. Jeg tog derfor et aktivt valg om, at alt det gamle skulle væk - og det nye liv, skulle ind. Hér står jeg NU. 12 uger ude, for min første konkurrence. Jeg har ikke drukket alkohol i over 1 år. Det er kæmpe stort. Jeg har jo vundet en kæmpe sejr i mit liv. Direkte sagt, vandt jeg mit potentiale tilbage❤️. Jeg havde troen i mit hjerte, viljen i mit hovede og sejren i mine hænder. Intet kan eller vil nogensinde kunne stoppe mig i, at udleve mine drømme. De der vil, må være i mit liv - de der ikke kan, må give slip.
