Since Mohammed Al Barwani (OCEANCO owner) acquired a majority stake in the Turkish superyacht builder TURQUOISE yachts, along with a large injection of operating cash allowing some impressive speculative builds the Shipyard has undergone a major transformation. In addition to now producing Northern European quality vessels they are using a large stable of top tier, forward thinking designers to provide clients with limitless options for new constructions. A notable design from them is Project NAUTILUS, a 62 meter explorer yacht, developed in collaboration with DeBasto Design who is responsible for both exterior styling and interior design.
NAUTILUS offers the best interior accommodations, an extremely functional layout and all the facilities and amenities that one would expect on a much larger yacht. One of the notable points on this well designed vessel are the two large cranes that are are part of the superstructure, integrated into the overall design providing a unique and revolutionary solution - if you look at the profile, you will be hard pressed to spot them.
The owner’s suite is situated on the upper deck facing forward and features two exterior terraces, with the owner able to enjoy a 270-degree view of the horizon from the comfort of their bed. Additionally, there are five guest staterooms, a full-size movie theater, a swimming pool on the aft main deck and a full beach club on the lower deck aft. Two-fold- down balconies enlarge the beach club area to provide close access to the water and completing the wellness area, there is a gym and a sauna.
