Let's talk about CAFFEINE! We've had people say that too much caffeine is bad for you, but nowadays we are hearing that caffeine can actually be good for you. Here's how caffeine can be indicated to help you with pain issues! When I was a medical student, I used to think it was funny when I would see orders for IV caffeine, or a caffeine diet that consisted of coffee and coke. But caffeine is actually indicated for something called "postdural puncture headache" or what people sometimes refer to as a "spinal headache". This can occur in our labor patients who undergo epidural anesthesia, but can occur in any procedures where spinal fluid is removed. But how does caffeine work? Caffeine causes something called cerebral vasoconstriction, which technically is when the vessels get clamped down particularly in the brain. This can decrease the symptoms of severe headaches. Some formulations of migraine medications also contain caffeine as well! . Do you have ways you have found caffeine helpful for you? Does it help you focus? I know I love getting my day started with an iced almond milk triple shot espresso made at home! (Yes that's 3 shots but it's pretty benign and all I drink all day. Auch wenn das Ego/die Gedanken/das kleine Äffchen im Kopf noch so wild umher schwirren und sagen "du musst aber jetzt noch dieses und jenes tun, du musst jetzt noch 10 Sonnengrüße machen, du musst jetzt noch gschwind aufräumen" dein Körper lügt nicht und zeigt dir bzw. Lässt es dich fühlen was dir wann & wie gut tut. . Also Versuch mal ganz still zu sein, lausch mal in dich rein, FÜHLE! Was tut dir gut, was braucht dein Körper? Унікальність і харизма. Штуки, якими люди завойовують серця, аудиторію і гроші. В сучасній гонці ідей, образів та змінності інформації не так легко бути унікальним, якщо ти не народився генієм. І все, що би ми не написали, виготовили, придумали - це вже хтось придумав і написав до нас. Може, трохи іншими словами чи образами. Тому немає сенсу намагатись бути унікальним чи кращим за інших. Є сенс бути собою. А поки думаєш про інших - себе не чуєш і не бачиш. Мій топ для самоідентифікації і проявлення своїх тру якостей: 1. Згадати чим любили займатись в дитинстві, виписати на листок і почати робити хоча б 2-3 речі з цього списку дуже пристрасно. 2. Часто бувати на природі на самоті. Прочищаються відчуття і підсилюється інтуїція. 3. Писати всі свої ідеї, особливо крейзі! В спеціальний блокнот😎 4. Практика йоги теж на самоті. Без музики, без прикрас, лише я і дихання. 5. Імпровізація. Без правил і рецептів. Навіть крива і коса. У всьому - в їжі, в музиці, в тілесній практиці і т.д. Якщо сподобалось - спробуйте на собі! А ще цікаво чим ви любили займатись в дитинстві? I still struggle with guilt, from time to time, and I am constantly making mistakes, giving myself teachable moments. I find myself embracing the painful and disconcerting moments now, more than before. I know that I'm learning and growing. A couple of days ago, I slipped at work. I felt the pain immediately in the front of my shoulder, something that reminded me too much of an injury on the other side. Xrays have been performed and nothing came back, as expected. I have a follow up the end of this week, but I am hoping the pain eases up considerably so it can be treated as a sprain and nothing more. Until then, I'm exploring hands free movement. It's kind of really fun and brings so much awareness to balance. I did an entire 40 minute practice with my arms bound. A super good stretch to the front of the shoulders and chest was a good added balance. How has inquiry affected your practice? • Top by @prana Pants and legwarmers by @aloyoga
