Last night, our lives got a lot less fluffy when we said our last goodbyes to our sweet almost 16 year old girl, Zoe.
She was such a lady. Funny, clever, beautiful. Expected you to earn her trust and affection, but so loyal once you joined her pack. A little mischievous. Everyone who lived with Zoe has a story about her shenanigans. Like the time she pushed the back door open and made me chase her in the dark in my pajamas and house slippers. Or the time I turned my back on her for half a second and turned around to find her snoot in my dinner plate, licking my chicken.
I could say so much more about her, but basically, Zoe was the best. What a good girl. There’s a pretty big floof-shaped hole in my heart right now.
See you on the other side, my pretty girl. My sweet angel lady. Say hi to Henry for me, and save me some of that chicken. 🧡
Jared reminded me that we were riding through the magical Christmas tree forests of @acadianps this time a few Augusts ago, and I would really like for someone to take us back there now, please and thanks. 📸: @jaredharber
Heading home today after an amazing and way too short whirlwind trip to LA to see these nice beautiful people get married. Trip highlights included new friends, tacos, a Jared and Jarrod in one pic, and of course, meeting the #numberonebrowndoginamerica. 💙
